"$25 if you give us a five-star review!" Ever heard that before? Not from us. Some companies offer to pay people or give them a discount in exchange for a good review. This seems to be a mutually beneficial deal: the customer saves or receives money, while the business gets another positive testimonial. While this may not be a blatantly unethical business decision, we at Sno-King Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning will not do anything that can be interpreted as dishonest or disingenuous. When a customer leaves a review, it is so that others will benefit from their experience whether it was good or bad. If we receive a negative review, it is an opportunity for us to make it right and improve on our mistakes in the future. If we receive a positive review, we know it is sincere because the customer wrote it without any benefit to themselves. Having said that, we certainly appreciate positive reviews just like anyone else does.
